About us
How It Started
Spot On Measure was created out of a very practical need.
Coming from a drafting background, we repeatedly ran into the same issue—projects moving forward without accurate existing plans. Homeowners and contractors often didn’t have reliable drawings to work from, and in many cases, cities no longer had records on file.
What should have been a straightforward starting point for a remodel or addition often turned into guesswork.
At the same time, contractors are busier than ever. Measuring existing structures takes time, and it’s not always the best use of their day—especially when accuracy matters and small mistakes can create bigger issues later.
We saw a gap there and decided to focus on solving it.
Our Approach
We keep things straightforward.
The goal is to capture what’s actually there and turn it into clear, usable information. That means showing up prepared, documenting the space carefully, and delivering files that reflect real-world conditions.
We don’t try to overcomplicate the process or add unnecessary steps. Most properties can be documented quickly, and we focus on keeping communication simple, so expectations are clear from the start.
At the end of the day, this is about giving you a reliable starting point—something you can use with confidence as your project moves forward.
